Tom Fansler

I was raised on a farm in Shenandoah County, Virginia, and graduated from Virginia Tech in engineering. After a highly successful corporate career designing and constructing facilities worldwide, my wife and I decided that 10 moves were enough and we should plant some roots "back home" in Virginia.

After "experiencing" the breathtaking beauty of Smith Mountain Lake, we are convinced that it is a unique place to live, work and enjoy the many recreational opportunities.

Our 3 sons, daughters-in-law and grandchildren who are within 3 hours applaud our decision. Due to our frequent relocations, I developed a strong interest in real estate as well as property/land development. With my experience, I bring a professional, thorough, objective and low key approach to my client's real estate needs. I joined Waterfront Properties because of their reputation as the premier real estate and property development firm in the lake area.
